O governo do Egito anunciou hoje que o país interromperá todo o tráfego aéreo dos aeroportos egípcios, a partir de quinta-feira, 19 de março. A proibição de viagens aéreas permanecerá em vigor até 31 de março de 2020.
A medida drástica está sendo introduzida na tentativa de evitar a disseminação de Covid-19 no país, disse o primeiro-ministro egípcio, Mostafa Madbouly, na segunda-feira.
Egito vai higienizar hotéis durante o fechamento, disse ele em uma entrevista coletiva televisionada. Os turistas que estão atualmente no país poderão completar suas férias, segundo o comunicado.
