BERLIN, Germany – 41-year-old Ulf Hüttmeyer, Chief Financial Officer of airberlin, has been named Chief Financial Officer of the month by FINANCE Magazine.

BERLIN, Germany – 41-year-old Ulf Hüttmeyer, Chief Financial Officer of airberlin, has been named Chief Financial Officer of the month by FINANCE Magazine. Every month, the renowned CFO magazine honours a financial director for their courageous decisions and special flair.

Stefan Pichler, Chief Executive Officer of airberlin, said of the award: “International financial knowledge and a feel for the global market are extremely important in the aviation industry. Ulf Hüttmeyer has these exceptional skills and we’re delighted with this award”.

Hüttmeyer studied Economics and has a degree in Business Administration. He began his career in 1996 at Commerzbank. During this time, he worked for three and a half years for Commerzbank South-East Asia in Singapore, before moving to Berlin, where he worked as a Key Account Manager for the Eastern Region. At the beginning of 2005, Ulf Hüttmeyer was appointed a director.
