The Seychelles’ annual ocean regatta will take place between May 22 and 29 and will bring a number of yachts to the starting line at Eden Island. A race course has been set to see a route from Mahe to Silhouette, Praslin and La Digue, before returning to Eden Island on the last day when the up to 70-foot racing boats will rush towards the finish line.
Incluídas este ano estão tarefas de pesca em alto mar – supostamente com uma política de marcação e liberação – que será uma competição separada dentro da regata principal.
Vários patrocinadores ofereceram preços substanciais aos vencedores nas diversas categorias para dar incentivos a esforços adicionais.
