Football or soccer – its the favorite and most public sports in many countries. It turns out those leading the global connection in this popular and also money-making sports are corrupt.
FIFA’s ethics committee has banned its suspended president, Sepp Blatter, and European soccer boss Michel Platini for eight years amid a corruption scandal in the federation.
The pair were suspended over a 2 million Swiss franc ($2.02 million) payment by FIFA to Platini in 2011, which is currently being investigated. Both men denied any wrongdoing.
